Eric Pontefract of Shepley, aged 81 years, the dearly loved husband of Anne, the much loved dad of Jane, Richard and Zoe, father in law of James, the dear grandad of Jadun, Jenny, Bethany and Olivia, also a dear brother, brother in law and uncle.

Will friends please meet for service at Huddersfield Crematorium at 11.15am on Tuesday 14th October.

Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu of flowers if so desired would be appreciated for The British Heart Foundation for which a donation plate will be provided at the service.

I have very fond memories of Eric and will remember him as a kind, friendly, smiley soul. He always had time for a chat with me when he was outside in his garden and I am really glad to have known him.

He made me feel part of his lovely family and I was always made welcome.
